CARE International is a humanitarian organisation leading the fight to end poverty in the world’s most challenging situations. Women and girls are at the centre of our work, because we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are running the London Day & Night obstacle race (10km then 5km) in aid of CARE international. It’s a tough challenge which some of us will just be pleased to finish, however long it takes. Your donations will help to ease the pain.

You can donate on here, or via text message.

Please text: MUDI55 £amount (e.g. £5) to 70070

The money we raise will help CARE to fight poverty and injustice in more than 80 countries to help the world’s poorest people find routes out of poverty. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives in the aftermath. Some of their recent work has been helping victims of the war in Syria, South Sudanese refugees, and people affected by the crisis in Gaza.

We’re aiming to raise £1000 and we’d like to thank everyone in advance for whatever you can contribute. Here’s an idea of what your money can buy.......

- £10 can provide enough seeds for six families to grow the food to feed themselves

- £20 can provide a shelter kit for one homeless family in the Philippines

- £50 could give a family over a year’s worth of water purification solution

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to CARE International. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you again.
