We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

For reasons which escape me at the moment, I'm doing something for charity :S

As part of Tesco Customer Service Centre, I will be part of a team who will compete in the Tough Mudder event on 14th July.  Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test your all round strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie.

The obstacles I shall be facing are:

1.       Braveheart Charge – Charge into battle with 5,000 other mudders.  Battle cries essential

2.       Creek Crusade – Waist deep sludge

3.       Death March – Mountain climb

4.       Mud Mile – Maze of mud trenches

5.       Underwater Tunnels – Bobbing under surface obstacles

6.       Berlin Walls – Set of 12 foot walls

7.       Boa Constrictor – Wet pipe crawl

8.       Log Bog Jog – Over / Under logs

9.       Log Jammin – Log climb

10.   Fire Walker – 4 foot flames by diesel soaked straw

11.   Killa Gorilla – Up and Down steep hills

14.   Island Hopping – Rock to rock river crossing

17.   Ball Shrinker – Swinging rope bridge

22.   Nettles to Nipples – Belly crawl through nettle patch

23.   Turd’s Nest – Net bridge cross

24.   Funky Monkey – Monkey bars.... some greased

25.   Greased Lightening – simple hill side slide

26.   Cliff Hanger – Steep muddy mountain track

27.   Arctic Enema – jump into ice bath

28.   Electroshock Therapy – Run through live electrical wires, up to 10, 000 volts
