Over the next year our aim is to raise £47,500 to buy a High Frequency Oscillator VentilatorThe oscillator is a special sort of life support machine which is used in people with severe lung disease like pneumonia. It has been needed by many patients who have required intensive care after being infected with swine flu.
Unlike most life support machines, the oscillator can give up to 500 tiny breaths a minute which allows the lungs to heal as they do not have to take big breaths in the normal way.

A recipe book for a cause:
Any companies or persons who would like to help with fundraising events, sponsorship please contact us during office hours on tel: 01279 827904.
Most patients are able to tolerate the normal life support but the oscillator can be used on the patients with the most severely damaged lungs which cannot tolerate the pressures generated by conventional machines.
