In order to raise some much needed donations for Macmillan Cancer Support we have entered the Mac4x4 challenge for 2011.

2011 marks the 10th annual run of the Mac 4x4 UK Challenge. This will also be the 100^th anniversary year of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. We provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. About the Mac 4x4

The "Mac 4x4" is a "challenge" for 4x4 enthusiasts. It aims at testing navigational, orienteering and observation skills, on & off road driving ability and endurance; by day & night.

The event will be taking place over 4 days (previously 3) and will run from Thursday the 3^rd to Sunday the 6^th of March 2011, the event is intended to be a testing long weekend of fun covering between 400 and 1000 miles with various "tests" en route.

This year sees a new driver & navigator combination with Iain McKenna taking the wheel in his Toyota Landcruiser. Last year saw us (competing as Team Wrangler) finish a respectable 26^th overall out of the 78 starters. We were also among the top fund raisers with a total of £2,345.00 excl Gift Aid, with your help we can match and hopefully exceed that total!

We are responsible for our own fuel and sustenance en route so rest assured all monies donated online will go directly to the charity.
