My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the Get a Head London Marathon 2012 JustGiving page.
This effort is being driven by three local property businesses working together to raise funds for the Get A-Head Charitable Trust. Edward Bromwich, Managing Director of EHB Residential and Tom Bromwich, Partner of Bromwich Hardy Chartered Surveyors have a personal connection with Get A-Head, with Tom Bromwich currently acting as Chairman of the Trust. Richard Hill, Managing Director of Heritage Sales and Lettings is a strong supporter of the Charity and the work they carry out throughout the country. The three companies have combined forces to purchase a place in this year’s London Marathon.
I have run half marathons before but never the full distance and it has always been an ambition of mine to enter the London Marathon, I am training hard to try to complete the 26.2-mile course around the capital in less than four hours.
Not everyone will have heard of Get A-Head, a small but growing independent charity based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Get A-Head's mission is to raise money to help people and their families suffering from diseases of the head and neck, and in particular head and neck cancers.
We are hoping that our clients and mutual contacts will also join in our fund raising efforts and would ask our fellow local property professionals if they would be kind enough to provide sponsorship as we are looking to raise as much money as possible for Get A-Head.
So please dig deep and donate now.

The Get A-Head Charitable Trust is dedicated to fighting head and neck cancer and other diseases by raising awareness, education, medical research, the purchase of vital medical equipment that the NHS cannot afford and the provision of free Complementary therapies such as Acupuncture, Reflexology, Reike and Chinese Massage.
