Story

Hi everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to look at my page and considering to donate. I have dreamt of doing the London Marathon for at least 6/7 years now and finally it became a reality on Sunday 22nd April 2012. I am always looking to challenge myself further and this really was going to be a great challenge and achievement for me.

On the 26th of February, I completed the Great North West Half Marathon in 1 hour 46 minutes and was really pleased with this time. It gave me the buzz for the full marathon and let me have good preparation for it.

I completed the London Marathon in 4 hours 12 minutes. It was extremely tough but all the training and effort I put in was worth it because it was a fantastic experience. I really enjoyed it and felt amazing when I had completed it and I feel really good now.

I ran for the St. Margarets Hospice, who are a local charity in Somerset. They provide specialist palliative care, advice, support and respite to patients with a terminal or life-limiting illness. If you would still like donate then please do, as I do want to raise a great deal for the St. Margarets Hospice. I have already raised £1,600 but it would be great to get some more for the charity.

Many thanks in advance!
