BHF London to Windsor 37 mile Cycle Ride · 6 September 2009

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

You may or may not know that late last year I was informed that due to my being overweight and having high blood pressure, I was at risk of developing heart disease. I decided to take up cycling as a way to combat both of these risk factors. I've since lost over two stone in weight and brought my BP down.

I'm one of the lucky ones - at lot of people don't know until its too late that they're at risk. Because of this I decided the British Heart Foundation should be the focus of my fundraising for the rest of 2009, and to this end I've signed up for the 37mile London to Windsor bike ride on 6th September 2009.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks,

Ian
