The Ivanhoe Way Challenge, organised by Richard and Angela Bebbington raises funds for Wishes 4 Kids. Setting off at 4am from Ashby De La Zouch on Saturday 15th June the challenge is to complete the 37 mile Ivanhoe Way Public footpath in 15 hours or less. Starting in Ashby De La Zouch, the route passes through Staunton Harold Reservoir, heads to the rocky outcrops of Charnwood Forest, before going out towards Bagworth. The second half of the route heads over to Shackerstone, along the route of the Ashby Canal, then towards the Moria Furnace.
