Action Against Hunger is a global humanitarian organisation that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger. We save the lives of malnourished children. We ensure everyone can access clean water, food, training and healthcare. We enable entire communities to be free from hunger.

Story

I am cycling from London to Paris on Thursday in a small group of 20 cyclists. The route is is over 185 miles which we are going to compete in less than 24hrs (and by the looks of it, almost definitely in the rain!)

Most people take 3 days as a minimum so this is a massive undertaking but for a very good cause.

I am raising money for action against hunger. Their work has a massive impact on reducing child hunger around the world. Just a little money can have a huge impact. For example:-

£10 - One week's supply of therapeutic milk, nutritional products, vitamins and medicine for a child*

£27 - 1 complete survival kit, necessary to save the life of a severely malnourished child in less than 4 weeks*

£36 - 1 mechanical surface pump (less than 7 meters)*

From £350 to £2,140 - 1 hand pump (20 to 70 meters) providing permanent and lasting access to safe drinking water for around 500 people
