<p>Hi everyone</p>
<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p>
<p>After 3 successful years of rowing to various places and raising much needed funds for 9 local charities and GHC I have decided to do something different! By the way that doesn't mean I rowed for 3 years just 3 years of seperate days!</p>
<p>This year as a member of Guildford Hockey Club I will be taking part in a 12 and a 1/2 hour hockeython and the chosen charity is Help for Heroes.</p>
<p>As a former soldier for 24 years it is obviousley a charity that is very close to my heart and would appreciate enormousely any help you can give me in raising funds for this very worthwhile cause.</p>
<p>The day will consist of as many members of GHC taking part as possible with events such as inter team mixed matches and coaching clinics for all colts age groups (which I will be leading, heaven help them) from under 10's to under 16's! The day will also include 2 matches against the Combined Services sides who will play our mens and ladies 1st X1's</p>
<p>All through the day there will be lots of other fund raising activities going on but the one that seems to be the most popular seems to be the idea of me going in the stocks........no idea why!</p>
<p>The event will start at 7.30am and finish at 8pm so if you would like to come down to show your support then please feel free. A Club party will be held at the end of the event where the amount raised will be announced!</p>
