So what's my story...

Well, I got to a point in my life where I just couldn't sit back, watch the pain & suffering in this World and not get involved in some way.

I'd always wanted to hike to Everest Base Camp - and this opportunity with ActionAid Guernsey came along.

However, the more I've become involved, the more fundamentally interested in the Country & Culture I became.

The recent earthquake devasted vast regions of Nepal - the least I can do is try and help rebuild a school.

N.B. All funds raised go directly to ActionAid to enable them to continue they're great work. The trip costs are being paid for by each individual volunteer.

A little bit about ActionAid

ActionAid is a leading international charity working in over 45 countries. They work with the poorest women and girls in the world, changing their lives for good.

Their local staff provide immediate, hands-on support to women and children living on the margins of survival.

Together they demand action at local, national and international level. They don’t walk away until they've achieved lasting change.
