BAD NEWS! 81 miles over a 2 day period sadly postponed! My lovely other half nagged me to pop along to the doctors, just for a fitness check! He's strongly advised me not to proceed with the walk, due to tendon and ligament damage! So I've had to make a huge decision to postpone the walk until I've rebuilt the strength . So watch this space for dates. I feel down hearted but If I did do the walk as planned it could cause permanent damage! Sorry

My name is Ian Rist and I am planning to walk the Essex Way which is 81 miles over a 2 day period,on the 30/31 July 2011.Starting from Harwich and ending up at Epping! ( This is equivalent to 3 London marathons!!!!)
