I've already done three sponsored walks for this worthwhile cause and aim to do one each year for as long as I'm able. I've joined the Walk for ME team, which is mainly for friends and families of ME sufferers, though some people with ME will attempt to do a short walk themselves- to the end of the road; to the garden gate; or in some cases, to their bedroom door- these are far more difficult for them than my walk will be for me.

This year, I'll be walking to The Shard from Northwick Park- my start and finish points can be seen in the photograph on this page and are 13 miles apart. Last year's Circle Line walk did get slightly difficult towards the end- this one is a mile or two less. I don't expect to get lost as the finishing point is highly visible!

I plan to do the walk (rain or shine!) on Sunday 8th of May 2016, which is as close as I can get to International ME Day on the 12th. Once again, I've managed to get the date at the top of the page wrong, it should read 8/5/16!
