Story

<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;">Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</span><br /><br /></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">In June 2011, I will be travelling on behalf of Oxford United Football Club as a volunteer with KenyanAdventure to help work on local community projects in heavily impoverished regions of Kenya, east Africa.<br /><br /><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">As part of the trip, we are also looking to raise &pound;20,000 for the Oxford United Community Sports Trust, which will help build a sports facility near the Kassam Stadium in Oxford. The trust does lots of work across Oxfordshire from excellence to community. The funds raised will add to the work done by the trust in some of these areas with young carers, adults suffering with mental health problems to twilight football on the wards with young people late at night. This trip will be used to support these initiatives giving people in Oxfordshire a chance to also engage in sport where maybe society or wealth has made it difficult for them to access facilities or teams in the past.</span><br /><br />If you would like to find out more about the trip and how communities both in Kenya and Oxford will benefit, please visit <span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: blue;">&nbsp;</span><span style="color: blue; mso-bidi-font-family: Helvetica; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;"><span style="line-height: 115%; color: blue; font-size: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Helvetica; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">www.kenyanadventure.com/oxford.html </span></span><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;">&nbsp;</span><span style="color: black; mso-bidi-font-family: Helvetica; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;"><span style="line-height: 115%; color: black; font-size: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Helvetica; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">or </span></span></span><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: blue;"><a href="http://www.oufc.co.uk/"><span style="color: blue; mso-bidi-font-family: Helvetica; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;"><span style="line-height: 115%; color: blue; font-size: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Helvetica; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="color: #0000ff;"><span style="color: #0000ff;"><span style="color: #0000ff;">www.oufc.co.uk</span></span></span></span></span></a></span></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; color: black;"><span style="color: black; mso-bidi-font-family: Helvetica; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;"><span style="line-height: 115%; color: black; font-size: 12pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Helvetica; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">.</span><br /></span></span><br /><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">I am trying to raise &pound;2,000 individually, so I can be part of the Oxford United trip to Kenya to work with young people.<br /><br />I will be completing a 30 mile walk commencing 23rd to 25th April 2011 walking to Oxford United&rsquo;s away match against Barnet.<br /><br />Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
