Story
In May, myself and 20-odd (or 20 odd is also accurate) colleagues will be running roughshod over Ben Nevis, the Scottish sissy of a mountain, scaling Skafell-llllass this is really easy Pike, before skipping up Snowdon. To prove how easy this is we'll do it in less than 24 hours. End of.
Why am I doing this? Utterly selfish. Just wanted an extra day off work - thanks Informa - and take in some nice views. If I break a sweat and find it a little challenging, well I might just let myself feel a sense of achievement. I mean really, will this rank higher than getting my 10 metre swimming badge without doing the 5 metre one?
Oh and one other reason - for the yoofs. That's right - I might be from Royal Tunbridge Wells but even I know that not all kids get as good a start as what I got (thanks, mum and dad). The Prince's Trust was not at all what I thought it was - boosting the coffers of some minor royal (what? he's the next monarch?). They actually use the money to help nearly 60,000 vulnerable young people each year, getting them jobs, training, education and other stuff. Now that's very kind of them - well you actually if you support me. So thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and donating - oh and reading my drivel.
Love Ian (because someone has to)
