Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

OK - the rumours are true and I am going to run the London Marathon this year!

This is your opportunity to show me how much you believe I can actually do this (and believe me I need convincing!) by finding a few pounds to sponsor me, which will go towards the very worthy cause of the Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF). Not only have we (CVS for Broxbourne and East Herts) worked very closely with HCF, and benefitted considerably from HCF funds over the last 12 years, I have become very aware of the hundreds of local charities and community groups that have also been recipients of HCF grants (see here for more information). So whatever the type of local cause you usually support, I can virtually guarentee you that a group undertaking that kind of work will benefit in someway from you sponsoring me.

In return I will do my very, very best to not only finish the Marathon but also to survive and consequently bore you with tales of my endeavours and how 'anybody can do it if they put their mind to it'.....

If you can please make colleagues, friends and family and anyone that knows me aware of this page, then I will be very grateful. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Cheers
