Everest Base Camp challenge · 16 October 2018 to 2 November 2018 ·

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.

Story

After climbing Kilimanjaro in 2017 for the Steve Prescott Foundation, I've decided to take on this years challenge of trekking to Everest Base Camp including the Kala Patthar peak.

To complete the challenge, the 40 strong team will need to trek through Himalayas for 9 days until we reach Everest Base Camp at 5,364m and then onto the highest peak of the challenge - Kala Patthar at 5,545m. The total trek time is 13 days.

The SPF continue to change lives with the amazing, relentless work they do, so it's an honour to be able to contribute towards their fund raising for such great causes whilst challenging myself at the same time.

I'll be giving this challenge my all and if you could help me reach my fund raising target by donating what you can afford that would be awesome.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, it's very much appreciated.
