National Three Peaks Challenge · 27 June 2015

In low- and middle-income countries fewer than 1 in 10 children with cancer are diagnosed, treated or given pain relief. World Child Cancer improves cancer care for some of the world’s poorest children by creating international twinning partnerships between medics hospitals and parent support groups

Story

Myself and 8 intrepid colleagues from Beazley are setting out to conquer the national three peaks challenge. This involves climbing the highest mountains in England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowdon), all in the space of 24 hours, including 500 miles of driving!

We will be doing this challenge in aid of Beazley's partner charity for 2015, World Child Cancer, a registered charity who support children in some of the poorest countries in the world. They provide vital training and equipment to doctors and nurses in countries where survival rates can be as low as 5%, compared to 80% in developed countries.

Any money you can give to support us in this challenge will be invaluable for this great cause and will make a genuine difference to the lives of many sick children.

Thanks for your support.
