A Massive thank you to all that have helped me smash my sponsorship target of £500. Edging closer to the £1000 every day.

==========================

Updated on Apr 29th 2010 at 5:16 PM using the JustGiving iPhone app

Under 4 weeks to go and still no further than 14miles......errrrrrt!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you will not know this, but seven years ago, my wife Donna and I lost our little boy, Lewis, unexpectedly at 20 weeks gestation. Nothing can prepare you for the emotions that you go through after something like this. You go through times when you blame yourself, question what you could have done to prevent this and so much more but you never get the answers you're looking for.

For us, this is, and always will be, one of the worst things that has and will possibly ever happen to us.

Until we suffered our loss, we never knew anybody else who had been through the same. It wasn't until i received a card from a friend called David whom i hadnt seen for a while saying that he and Fiona were sorry to hear the news and that they had also recently suffered such a tragedy. This to the day will remain in my mind as a great comfort during this period of our lives.

David is also going to be running the marathon with me and hopefully we can both raise as much money for Tommy's Baby Charity, who believe that it is unacceptable that one in four women will lose a baby during pregnancy and birth. Tommy's will use the money we raise to research miscarriage and still births and hopefully give every baby the chance to be born healthy.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
