Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've decided to swim the Channel twice over ........Yep, 44 miles - only - rather than swim in the world's busiest shipping lane, avoiding sewage and anything else lurking in the water, I’m doing it at my local pool where the water is warmer.I'll be starting this on 14th September 2010 and plan to complete the whole 44 miles - that’s 3080 (23m) lengths of the pool - by the end of November.
I intend to complete the swim just doing Front Crawl which is more tiring. I haven't swam since 2008 when I did the challenge before but mainly did Breast Stroke. I'm unable to prepare for the challenge due to recovering from a broken leg. I've put on weight during this time so hope I'm not harpooned...........
