Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. YES! I did it! Not quite the time I was wishing for - 5 hours 19 minutes but raising money is more important than that. Although the race is over its not too late to donate and send me towards the £4000 mark! This trust is extremly close to my heart and has supported my immediate family so much over the past year and a half, which has been a difficult time for us all. Raising money for this trust will ensure that lots of other families are able to remain close together when their child is hospitalised for a lengthy period of time. Without this trust immediate family members have nowhere to stay and either have to book into expensive hotels or travel to and from the hospital each day. Rainbow House, close to Great Ormond Street Hospital has supported my family so much. Running this marathon will be on behalf of all the amazing, strong and resiliant children and families that we have met who are an inspiration to us all. I would like to dedicate this marathon in memory of the beautiful little 'prince', Mohammed Zain and brave little Lilly-Marie Cartwright. I would also like to dedicate this marathon to Theo Towse and his family and of course my beautiful little daughter Evie who both continue to show great strength and courage in their lives. I hope you will join me in supporting such a worthy cause. Every pound raised can make such a difference. My sincere thanks to everybody who has made a donation and helped me to exceed my target of £3000! Special thanks also to Ritchie Bethell for supporting me on the day and to Karen and Jason who I had the pleasure of meeting and running with for the first 9 miles - you were such great company and helped me loads!
