In April 2012, myself and 19 colleagues from St. James's Place Wealth Management will begin the journey of a lifetime to Everest Base Camp, with one of our team members then attempting to summit Everest.

  

It has been a life long ambition of mine to follow the steps of Edmund Hillary and his companion Tensing Norgay to achieve the seeming impossible and climb Mount Everest.  Trekking to Everest Base Camp is a huge challenge for me – apart from the training required to do the expedition I have never set foot on a mountain before.  Taking part in this epic challenge I am proud to be part of a team raising money for charities that will help the lives of children in both the Himalayas and the UK.
