Story
So here it is, the longest canoe marathon in the world. 125 miles, 77 locks, two slightly unhinged and ageing gentlemen trying to recreate the glory of their youth and trying to make a bit of cash for a very worthy cause at the same time...
Yes I did say non-stop....we will be starting early morning on Saturday 19th April in Devizes and are due to be washed up somewhere under Westminster bridge mid-morning on Sunday.
This is no small undertaking and we have been training hard since October last year. We are raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, which is a Charity very close to both my and Simon's (the captain of our ship) heart. Please donate generously as I am pretty confident if we make it we will not be doing it again!! PCU3ED has kindly agree to match any donations we receive so please dig deep...
Thanks from the bottom of our hearts and hopefully not the bottom of the Thames :)
