This summer, I will be walking across England for charity.  To be more precise, the journey will cover 84 miles in six days.

A group of moms and dads from many different countries will be traveling the length of Hadrian's Wall, from Wallsend on the east coast to Bowness-on-Solway on the west coast, to raise money and show support for The Joseph Salmon Trust.

The Joseph Salmon Trust provides financial assistance to parents in the UK who have lost a child.

It's a small charity, which means a little goes a long way.

I'm hoping that my presence on this walk has a big impact on the good the Trust can do, but I need your help. Please consider sponsoring me on this journey.  I'm asking friends and family to support my effort with a minimal $5 donation.  If you'd like to do more, that would be amazing.

Please keep in mind that ALL of your contribution will go towards the actual support of the grieving parents.  Not a penny of your contribution goes toward overhead costs. The trustees and individuals who work for the trust do so on a purely voluntary basis, so you can be sure that every bit of your contribution will go towards supporting the parents.  The form of support is individual to each case and could include funeral costs, basic household costs during a grieving period, or simply to allow parents to take some time off work to come to terms with the tragedy.

If you have any questions about the charity, donations, or my trip, just send me an email.  As I said before, any donation amount is welcome.

As I walk this summer, the knowledge of your support for my endeavor will surely put a spring in my step!

- Phil
