We are working with Blakewells Solicitors who are sponsoring a fantastic Charity event. We aim to help the Rohingya people, our brother and sisters who need us!

More than one million Rohingya Muslims in Arakan state, Burma, are today living in apartheid conditions.

Much of the countryside in Arakan is awash with concentration camps, the grim result of a targeted pogrom which has seen Muslims killed and villages razed to the ground.

Arguably worse is the plight of those who have chosen to flee the persecution.

Thousands, in their attempt to reach to Bnagladesh, Malaysia, Thailand and elsewhere, have been shot at, imprisoned, tortured or left out to die at sea.

The Rohingya are now trapped between repression in their homeland and abuse in neighbouring countries. It is up to us to respond and show them that they have not been forgotten.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
'Shall I not tell you about the people of Paradise? Every weak and oppressed one. Shall I not tell you about the people of Hell? Every harsh, haughty and arrogant one.'
(Sunan Ibn Majah)

So join us in our efforts to try and raise as much as we can for our Rohingya brother and sisters and donate whatever you can!
