I did it, and thank you so much to you all for your support!

Paris Marathon, Kilomathon and Brighton Half Marathon, with medals and t shirts to prove it!

I managed all three races, despite some worries about whether I’d even make it to the start line in . There were some difficult patches - the terrible weather in Brighton and the injuries I picked up in the long hours of training (torn hamstrings and dodgy ankle). When the going got tough, and the physio suggested I drop out, knowing you'd all sponsored me and for a great cause kept me going. I really couldn't have done it without you.

I'm really pleased with the money raised for the WAY Foundation, it will help support young(ish) people get through their grief and rebuild their lives. I'm certainly proof I feel that with fantastic friends, family and colleagues, you can achieve a lot more than I ever might have imagined (anyone who knew how fit I was a couple of years ago would confirm I'm not exactly a natural at this!)

I've really enjoyed the challenge too. Doing these runs has taken me to some great places. From the countryside I saw on the way from Nottingham to Derby to the amazing experience of running down the Champs Elysees from the Arc de Triomphe, and then back after 26.2 miles towards the Arc de Triomphe for my own personal slice of triumph. Doing these runs you also feel a real sense of connectedness to other people, even if you don't understand a stream of French or have run out of puff to answer!

I'd particularly like to thank the people who I bored at length about my running, my anxieties about whether I could make it and the injuries. You've been very patient and tolerant (I know it's not very interesting to hear about long runs and even less pleasant to hear about injuries involving toenails...).

Just a reminder too that all the money you've donated goes to the WAY Foundation - not to subsidise the cost of these runs (which is only right given that I got a huge amount out of the experience).

And if you were waiting to see whether I made it before sponsoring me, there's still time to contribute...

I really appreciate your support!

Thanks so much, Imogen

Here's the link to my training log - just to prove I'm earning your sponsorship! If you want to hear any more of the gory details of the runs and don't feel I've gone on about this enough already, just let me know, I even have video of crossing the finish line... http://www.fetcheveryone.com/userprofile.php?id=27172&show=training
