My story

 

Wow!  Thanks so much for  taking time and visiting my fundraising page - you rock!

You've got the chance to make a huge difference to people's lives by making a donation today!  I really want to raise money for AVIF, one of the best charity's ever! ABLe Volunteers International Fund (AVIF) is an online charity which helps people in need in Kenya.  AVIF has hardly any admin fees so your money will go directly to helping those in need in Kenya.

This  account  has special low tariffs and the money goes into AVIF account.             

  Project on the horizon is:

--Helping to buy a plot where the Ingrid Children's Education Centre stands.The Centre has been leasing the land for the last 3 years and now the owner has it for sell.This summer we had volunteers from AVIF who volunteered with us for a month.They helped to secure the plot by paying for the Deposit.The agreement with the owner is that the remaining amount is to be paid by end of December 2009.Securing this plot means that:

  1.The facility will continue serving the Needy children of Matopeni slum and its environ.

  2. The current facility caters for 116 children in Matopeni community slum, will continue,feeding and   Educating this vulnerable children.                                                                                                                                                                 .   3.The money  the Centre has been  using towards the rent every month will help in the purchase of food stuff.
    4.Will enable the Centre put up permanent classrooms in the near future  after they legally buy and pay for the plot.
