"Nominate an Inmate 2" 24hr Prison Lock-In · 20 May 2017 to 28 May 2017 ·

SOS Africa invests 100% of all donations in the education & care of disadvantaged South African children with regular feedback to sponsors. Since 2003 the grassroots charity has provided children from the ages of 5-18 with education, care and learning support programmes tailored to their needs.

Story

Ellie Miners has been found guilty of "Not doing enough tea runs in the office!"

She has been sentenced to 24hrs at HMP Shepton Mallet this May
but we need to raise a year's education for an SOS Africa child (£240) to make it happen!

Shepton Mallet was the UKs oldest operating prison when it closed in 2013. She will be spending 24 hours locked in a cell with no more than a bed frame (yes, no mattress) and a sleeping bag.
