On 23 October 2011 Julian will be running the BUPA Great Birmingham Run in memory of our beautiful daughter Olivia Beatrice.
Olivia was born earlier this year at 26 weeks. During her brief life she was cared for at the Neonatal Unit at Birmingham Women's Hospital by a truly inspirational team of individuals who work tirelessly to give the best possible chance to babies born prematurely.
That same team cared for our son Thomas, born at 32 weeks, who is now a happy healthy four year old.
We would like to raise funds for the Unit in Olivia's memory to help it to continually improve its care for premature babies. We hope that in this way Olivia's short life can help extend the lives of other children born too soon.
