Inter Hoddesdon Fc have created this page so that it can reach out to as many people as possible in order to ask for any small donation to go to their chosen charity.
We have all lost friends and family in the local community and the club would like to show their support and give something back in raising money for Cancer Research.
Our chosen charity is for Cuffley Friends of Cancer Research UK (Charity No. 1089464)
This charity was founded in July 1979, (40 years ago) when a group of ladies wanted to make a difference and support research into this terrible disease.
Over the years they have held many, many functions - jumble sales, dinner dances, quizes, talks, ladies lunches and have raised almost £400,000. This may not seem a lot of money to some charities, but when you consider the average age of the ladies today is 78 you can imagine how hard they have worked! Many of these ladies also have worked in the Cancer Research charity shop in Potters Bar and the current Chairwoman, Mrs Pat Lovatt has worked there for 22 years. These ladies have also taken part in the Tesco Race for Life !!
They are determined to carry on for as long as possible and have got five functions already planned for 2019 excluding this one.
Inter Hoddesdon Fc will be fundraising for Cancer Research by organising a charity Inter Hoddesdon football match featuring players who played for the club over the past 25 to 40 years since it was founded in 1981.

Park View, Hoddesdon

Age: 35+
Kick off is set for 2.30pm, gate will be open from 12.30pm and everyone is welcome to come and support the club.
