Story

Our training weekend in Aberfoyle was an eye opener for all, facilitated by Ken Hames. He did an excellent job of inspiring all the teams to prepare themselves for the toughest challenge in the UK. We met with our team captain, the sit down comedian that is Captain Mark Cooper, a great Edinburgh man, with 26 years of experience. I’ll be honest and say that i thought i was going to pass out only 2 hours into the first ascent up a Hill (not even a Munro) on the training weekend, by this point the reality had dawned on all of us just how tough this mission/ challenge is going to be. The Determination from the whole team to keep going was exceptional and gave me confidence that we will get to the top of the Ben Nevis on the 20th August.

I have uploaded some pictures from our first individual team training weekend, it was only Arthur Seat- but you have to start somewhere.

The Investors In People Scotland Team will be entering the Bowmore Ben Nevis Challenge 2011.
