"Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh"- (Wonderful Teacher's Khalsa, Victory is to the Wonderful Teacher)
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I know everyone seems to be doing these sorts of things and you probably think oh no, not another person I have to sponsor, but believe me when I say that, "I never normally do anything, and now somehow I have been roped into doing this, but I am grateful for the opportunity to give something back. We are doing a sponsored walk which is around 6 miles long. The walk will take place on Sunday 26th September 2010 and is starting from Woolwich Gurdwara (1 Calderwood Street), walking down to Woolwich Ferry, then along the river front to North Greenwich station by the o2 Arena (Formally known as "The Dome"). We are trying to raise funds to contribute towards the (which also borders with Pakistan) and Pakistan Floods Appeal. Recent floods in Punjab and have left 20 million people homeless. Many are facing a slow and painful death due to lack of clean water and food. Guru Gobind Singh Ji once said "Recognise all of the human race as one."So even if you can spare £1, or the cost of a few drinks on a night out that can make a difference to some body’s life, so please make the effort and sponsor me. Please dig deep and donate now.
Please pass on to all your collegues and friends.
