Story

Assalamu Alaykum (Peace),

This year, on the Sunday 12th November, I will be climbing Pen y Fan with the University of Birmingham's Islamic Medical Ethics Society in hope to raise money for the Cholera crisis in Yemen.

The on-going conflict in Yemen has left more than 1 million people displaced from their homes, 21.2 million (82% of Yemen's population) require some form of humanitarian assistance, 19.3 million lack access to clean water, 14.1 million lack access to healthcare, 3 million children and pregnant/nursing mothers are in need of treatment. Yemen is also facing the 'world's worst cholera outbreak' with 815,000 cases and given the current rate of infection 60% of the cases will be children.

Human Appeal has been working effortlessly to provide life saving treatment to those in need but this is not possible without your help. Please donate (every little counts), share and keep the people of Yemen and all those who are suffering around the world in your Duas.
