Story

On 08/08/2010 I'll be taking part in the Outlaw triathlon.

The event consists of :

2.4 miles swimming,

a 112 mile bike and

26.2 mile run to finish it off.

As part of my participation, I have decided to raise money for the

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is responsible for funding and operating three Air Ambulances serving the Midlands and Welsh border region. Flying its first mercy mission in 1991, the organisation is regarded as one of the longest established and busiest Air Ambulance operators in the UK.

It is not always fully appreciated that Midlands Air Ambulance is funded solely by the public and local businesses. They receive no government money or National Lottery funding. The generosity of the public helps to raise the £6 million required each year to ensure our three helicopters remain operational, so please consider making a donation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity
