Story
A year ago I decided to start running again, overcoming ten years of injury and inactivity, I was fortunate to be able to put on those running shoes and find happiness doing what I love.
Running led me to discover triathlon, and as I've embraced the sport the athletes, enthusiasts and organisations involed have welcomed me to their community. I am taking a queue from this, and with your help, want to put my passion for triathlon to use helping those not so fortunate.
Rotary has partnered with Ironman UK 70.3 since the event was held in 2003, and the funds raised go on through Rotary to affiliated charities, all excellent causes.
So please, join me on the road to Ironman 70.3 (a journey that will continue on to Ironman UK in August), visit me at IronPigeon.com for updates, tales of training disaster, and share in the trials and tribulations.
If you want to help out some great charities, enjoy my writing about falling off my bicycle (only once so far!) or just feel particularly supportive today, please donate!
