Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

In October 2012 I had a cycling accident which left me a tetraplegic, paralysed from the chest down.

The Aspire facilities and staff have been very helpful and supportive to me during my rehabilitation at the London Spinal Injuries Centre at Stanmore RNOH.

Donations to Aspire will help support grants that I will benefit from in the future, and all gift aid tax relief will go into the broader Aspire funds supporting all spinal injury sufferers.
