Story

My name is Isaac and I am 7 years old. Last year, at age 6, I climbed Snowdon and raised nearly £4,000 for JDRF because I wanted to help my best friend Fin get better.

I was playing over Fin's house recently on the trampoline and I saw Fin fall over. He felt shaky so I ran to fetch his mother and his blood sugars had dropped to 1.2. I don't know exactly what this means but I know it is too low and very dangerous for Fin. One minute we were having loads of fun and the next minute he was very ill. I felt scared and upset. I have nagged my parents to let me do another challenge because I hate diabetes and I don't want Fin to have it anymore.

My brother Caleb (age 8) and I both love our bikes and enjoy going on rides with our Dad. So we have decided to cycle the whole length of the Taff trail, which is 55 miles, to raise money. I know this will be hard and we will have to do lots of training because the furthest we have cycled is 10 miles, but we will do it! Please sponsor us! Thank you!!
