Michelles Charity fundraising in memory of Isabella and Rosie Murray

My fundraising page is for Sands. Sands is a charity who help and support families after the loss of a baby.

In 2010 after a normal healthy pregnancy Isabella was stillborn at 40+5 weeks. The first few days we experienced every emotion. Sadness, Hurt, Grief, Guilt wondering if there was something we could have done to save her.

We found Sands and the online community and forum and realised we were not alone and there were lots of mummys and daddys who were feeling the same as us. This particularly helped me during the 'Dark days' being able to talk to other people who had been though the same and was hurting just like me.

3 months later to our surprise I fell pregnant again and my due date was the same as Isabella's. I thought our angel had gave us a present. At just 20 weeks baby Rosie's heart had stopped beating. There I found myself again in exactly the same position as I did earlier in the year.

Fundraising is something I felt I needed to do, to give something back to the ones who helped me.

Sands also provide research to why 17 babies are stillborn or die shortly after being born every day in the uk

This year my own personal goal is £5,000 please help me get there and donate.

Baby Isabella was born sleeping on 28/03/2010 at 40 weeks

Baby Rosie was born sleeping on 29/09/2010 at 20 weeks

Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, works in partnership with health professionals to try to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care and funds research that could help to reduce the numbers of babies dying and families devastated by this tragedy.
