Story
I try to set myself a challenge at least once every year and through my work at South Cheshire College have links with our Hospice - St Lukes Cheshire. This year I have been making an effort to get fit and lose weight and it seemed natural to me to increase my motivation by raising money for charity at the same time. I did some work experience at St Lukes last year and I can't think of a more deserving organisation to support. I have lost nearly 3 stone since October and registered for the Midnight Walk on the 19th June 2010. We will be doing some fund raising in College before the walk but I thought it may be a good idea to try to raise some funds using this method too, rather than getting people to sponsor me in the conventional way.
I need all the encouragement I can get as the thought of 13 miles is very daunting and hope that you will give generously to spur me on!
