My story
Well! We have done it! And we now owe all our amazing donators a very big, and very heart felt THANKYOU, for helping us raise such a phenomenal total for the Colostomy Association. The charity have been in constant contact with us during our fundraising/training and they are unbelievably grateful to everybody's generosity.
Having raised so much certainly made Race Day feel all the more worthwhile (and help us grit the pain and exhaustion!). The weather could not have been sunnier for us, it was a beautiful day (perhaps a little too warm- Izzy ended up sporting some rather striking sunburn by the end of the day!) and we like to think we managed to do all our training andmost importantly, all your kind donations, justice. Despite the aching limbs, it was an incredible day- the atmosphere and crowd support was amazing and the experience was certainly one to remember (even if not to repeat in a hurry)!
Both of us are cherishing our medals and runner’s t-shirts with pride, and we were most definitely basking in some glory on Sunday afternoon!

Colostomy Association
Charity Registration No. 1113471
The Colostomy Association provides emotional and practical support to ostomates and their families. It overs a 24hour helpline, a quarterly magazine and one to one support. It also aims to raise awareness of stomas through open days up and down the country.
