Issy Firth is raising money for The Zikomo Trust
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am visiting Malawi in July 2017 for 3 weeks, along with several others, in order to witness and help only some of the people who live such underprivileged lives of poverty. On the 18th March I will be doing a 10k tough mudder to raise some money for this cause.
Malawi is the 13th most impoverished country in the world with 12 out of 16million living below the international poverty line. Just £10 is enough to feed 1 child for a full year! Any money donated will go towards all sorts of projects and improvements to things such as: facilities; improvements in classrooms and learning resources and finally to medical projects. All of this will vastly improve their quality of life.
Sometimes it's easy to forget how privileged and fortunate we are and we can take everything for granted. I would be extremely grateful if you took the time to donate for this worthy cause. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
None of the money donated will go towards the funding of this trip, this has already been paid for. All of the donations will go straight to the Zikomo Trust.
