Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team has been assisting people in the western fells of the Lake District for over 50 years. The team covers England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike and respond to over 100 calls a year. They are all volunteers who give their time to help those in need, whatever the weather, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The team is a charity that relies on voluntary donations.

I am a team member and on Saturday 15th August I will be aiming to complete the Joss Naylor Lakeland Challenge - running 48 miles, climbing 17000 feet over 30 fell summits to raise funds for the team. This challenge will take me from Pooley Bridge in the northern Lake District back to Greendale in Wasdale.

It’ll be tough so please help if you can!
