Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

On Friday, 19th May, I and sixty of my colleagues at RBS/NatWest, will be walking a marathon (26.2 miles) from the Olympic Park to Richmond Park. I would be very grateful if you would consider supporting me by donating via my Just Giving Page

I have learned a great deal about Prostate Cancer from one of my colleagues, Kevin Webber, who was diagnosed in 2014 with terminal prostate cancer at under 50 years of age. Kevin has been inspirational in how he has faced the illness and has inspired a number of us to raise funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK. (A 2 min Video of Kevin’s story can be accessed via this link: https://rbs.qumucloud.com/view/LotzNDBrJoH ).

The hard & sobering facts: -

Over 47000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer in UK every year, that's 130 per day.
Over 330,000 men in UK are living with prostate cancer - 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime.
Every hour one man in UK dies from prostate cancer - that's more than 11,000 men in UK every year.

Please do not feel obliged to support me, but all donations gratefully received to support the important work of Prostate Cancer UK.

Many thanks
