Walk the Talk - Signature Challenge 2018 · 17 September 2018 ·

Mental Health UK is here for anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We are made up of four organisations based in each of the four nations of the UK, working together to improve mental health.

Story

Over the next 2 years Lloyds Banking Group will be taking part in ‘Walk the Talk’ in aid of Mental Health UK.

1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year. Mental health problems are indiscriminate and can have a big impact on the lives of those affected and
their loved ones. We all have mental health – just like we all have physical health but still, mental health is often misunderstood.

‘Walk the Talk’ takes place between 17-21 September and aims to get people walking and talking about mental health, helping to reduce the stigma attached to mental illness whilst raising funds for Mental Health UK who provide services, information, and advice to support anyone affected by mental illness.

So what am I doing? Along with my fellow colleagues I will be taking part in the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge, 24 miles, 12 hours and 2153 metres of ascent all to raise money to keep Mental Health UK providing the services that people so desperately need.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
