We did it! We started our ascent of Ben Nevis at 07:53 Saturday morning and returned to the car park at Pen Y Pass, Snowdon, 22hrs 52mins and 43secs later. It was tough, but climbing these 3 peaks was a unique and rewarding challenge which we all enjoyed immensely.
We also made our target! Thank you to everyone who has sponsored us so far! As you can see we have reached and breached the £3000 mark and still have some offline donations to add. With luck we may even reach £4000 and be able to provide two whole farm yards! So, if you haven't yet had chance to sponsor us then any donation you can give to help us achieve the £4000 mark would be greatly appreciated!!
Send-a-cow provides livestock and farm training to people in Africa with the aim of improving self sufficiency and a sustainable route to economic independence. Our target is to raise £3000 because this amount will purchase more than an entire farmyard, which includes: 1 cow, 2 pairs of goats, 3 pigs, 4 flocks of poultry, 5 hives of bees, 600 fruit tree saplings, 7 days of training, a fish pond and a rain-water tank!
THANK YOU - from Annabel, Steve, James, Robin & Alexander(shown in our Send-a-cow t-shirts at Pen Y Pass, Sunday am)
