Ok well Last years runs went well so this year its time to up my game. Thanks Eley for the little push!

Great North Run - This Big One
September 18th
Don't know what this is? Where have you been, its only THE most iconic half-marathon on the planet.
A lengthy 13.1miles/21.09km from Newcastle to South Shields, just looking at the map makes my stomach turn!

River Rat Race - Birthday Treat
August 28th
This ones on my birthday so i'll be getting very drunk straight after, but don't let this mask the dificulty of the course. It's a 10k run with a difference, Last year included swimming through canals, jumping off the endevour ship, canoeing and even crossing over the top of the Newport Bridge in Stockton and much much more. this was really exhausting and i don't doubt for a second this years will be any easier!

Middlesbrough 5k - Easy
Did the 10k last year in under an hour so i should smash this in less than half an hour. Just need to make sure i'm fit for the day!

Ok so thats the Runs but why am i doing it?

British Red Cross
Its all for these guys. As you may or may not know i am a volunteer for the British Red Cross and i have provided first aid at many events such as the Great North Run and i'm working towards becoming part of the Red Cross emergency response team.
But these are only two small areas in which the Red Cross cover, they provide aid and services across the world helping the likes of the Japanese Tsunami, and the victims of Ivory Coast and Libya.
None of this would be possible without the help and donations from everyone accross the world and this is why i've decided to help them to raise money.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page and hopefully read all this bumph but i did take the time to write it myself =)
