As you may well know my Mum sadly passed away in January 2012, shortly after being diagnosed with lung cancer. My Mum spent a large part of her life supporting and helping others especially children which led her to become a foster carer for eight years, helping over 20 children in the process. She also worked as a support assistant in schools, including Shenstone Primary which prides itself on helping and supporting children not as fortunate as the rest of us. So rather foolishly I have decided to try and run the marathon in my Mums memory, and raise some money for WellChild.

WellChild help seriously ill children, young people and their families throughout the UK with their programmes of care, support and research.

I appreciate all that is being donated and hope you can join me in raising money for a good cause.
