Everyone has been, or will be, touched by cancer at some point in their life. Many of us have lost loved ones, or have seen the terrible impacts cancer has had on people and their families.
Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. They fund research into more than 200 different types of cancer, both common and rare. Cancer Research UK has contributed to saving millions of lives by discovering new ways to diagnose, treat and prevent cancer, and survival rates have effectively doubled over the past 40 years.
Cancer Research UK does not receive Government funding, and relies on charitable donations. Why not be part of the race to beat cancer? I've seen first hand how important the money from donations is at the London Research Institute (http://www.london-research-institute.org.uk/). Your money could be used to sequence some genes or even help set up the incredible Francis Crick Institute (http://www.crick.ac.uk/) due to open in 2015!
Don't forget to GIFTAID your donation! Thank you.
