<p>Thank you for visiting the Scottish Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme Alumni Association&nbsp;donation page.</p> <p>The money raised through this site will go towards various charities which are involved in helping those affected by the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami.&nbsp; We would like to show the Japanese people that here in Scotland and around the World we care about their situation.&nbsp; Once the page is closed we will send a link to Tohoku region so that people there can view the comments in this page.&nbsp;</p> <p>The number of people who have died in this disaster is rising every day.&nbsp; As we can all see on the news the amount of damage caused is unprecedented.&nbsp; The&nbsp;survivors in the Tohoku region of Japan are now not only suffering from lack of housing but also from food and petrol shortages, lack of cooking facilities&nbsp;and&nbsp;electricity blackouts.&nbsp;&nbsp;Money is needed urgently to support the charities that are providing assistance.&nbsp; Please give generously.</p>
