I did it!!!!!!!!  After missing the Brittany Ferries by 200mtrs in Poole Bay in the thickest fog ever we reached Old Harry and the fog lifted and off we went. In just over 2 1/2 hrs we reached Alderney to be greeted by the Channel Islands News and the local papers. I had my interview and a quick snack and off again back to Poole. Again in just over 2 1/2 hrs I made it back to Old Harry, Poole. I was greeted by boats from Cobbs Quay Marina who followed me back to the marina beeping horns and waving banners. Friends and family were also back at the marina to greet me. What a day! Once the money is all in I am hoping to have raised £6,000 overall for my chosen charities.  THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING ME REACH THIS. Joshua x
